The AFC East Champion Miami Dolphins have not shown any team dominance over the last few games of the season and find themselves playing the underdog role against the Baltimore Ravens.  The Ravens come into Dolphins Stadium after securing the last playoff spot with a win against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Neither team have explosive offenses, favoring a steady march downfield with the occasional missed tackle for a big gain format, so do not expect either quarterback to be flinging it.  While the Ravens employ a more traditional running game, the Dolphins will utilize more short passes and misdirection to gain yardage.
It is the almighty defense that will decide the game.  The Ravens Ray Lewis and Ed Reed are game changers.  Their experience dismantled the Dolphin’s Wildcat formation when they met in Week 7 with the Ravens prevailing 27-13.  The Dolphin’s sack leader, Joey Porter, should expect little pass rushing opportunities but many chances for tackles as the Ravens are expected to run on his side of the field.

IndyCar racer, Danica Patrick has a couple of speeding tickets.  How is this even a story?  The Associated Press reported that she paid for $196 fine for a recent ticket and that it is among several she has had in the past three years.
Again, how is this a story?  A racer car driver speeding is as much a surprise as poker player…gasp…gambling!  Or worse, finding a basketball player balling it up in some underground pick up game.  C’mon!
It would be more of a story if Danica had a clean driving record.

It was a bitter end. The 2008 Miami Dolphins unexpected ride on the road to the Super Bowl came to a quick end at the hands of the Baltimore Ravens. When the clock reached triple zeroes, the Fins were on the losing end of a 27-9 slaughter.

Ed “Just hand me my Hall of Fame Jacket now” Reed was the recipient of a couple of Chad Pennington’s interceptions, returning one for touchdown. Reed’s 64-yard pick-six in the second quarter put the Ravens up 10-3, which would have been good enough on the day the Fins coughed it five times after only giving up 13 turnovers all season.

Miami made it interesting with a late fourth quarter Pennington TD pass to Ronnie Brown. However, after previously limiting the Raven’s offense to a couple of three and outs, the Fins defense failed to halt a Ravens game sealing touch down march.
