What is Gary Wichard thinking? He is Jason Taylor’s agent and the person who convinced the 13-year veteran to head up to New York and talk to the Jets. Taylor, who is well known for his bitterness towards the Jets, has yet to be resigned by the Miami Dolphins but has made it known that he wants to stay with the team he has spent the majority of his career with. Miami’s General Manager, Jeffery Ireland, has said that the team won’t make a move to resign Taylor till after the upcoming draft.

It’s yet to be seen what will be the outcome of the two draft picks the Fins got for Jason Taylor, or if cutting defensive anchor Zach Thomas was the right move. After such a shake-up, including other major player and staff moves, is it possible for the Fins to go 8-8 this year? Aside from winning the seven of their 13 remaining games, there’s gonna have to be some changes. This week I look at positional strategies that could use some tweaking. We’ll start today at running back.

What better way to start my life as a sports blogger than this. It is my opening post, yet more importantly to the sports fan it is Pro Football Eve!!! That's right. Football is back and the 5 month holiday is "The Most wonderful Time of the Year", but only some of us will get presents. Santa Coughlin may be in the giving mood again. It is more likely however, that Giselle will lead the Patriot fans in a Marilyn Monroe inspired "Santa Bra-dy", asking for that "one thing, a ring".
