He will be going up against his old team and you and I both know there is nothing he would like better than to go in there and show them that it was a mistake to give up on him.

Pennington will have to face one of the greats of all time in the new Jets quarterback Brett Favre. In addition to Favre however, the Jets have improved in a lot of other areas as well.

Pennington, who normally is very good at making good decisions, will have to be extra careful against the Jets secondary and wll have to hope that the new kid on the o-line Jake Long can proect him long enough to see downfield.

One thing Pennington has to keep in mind is that he was not brought here to win games with his arm. Pennington is known as a smart game manager and that is all that is expected of him. He needs to keep the drives moving and when he gets the call to make a pass, he needs to step up and complete it or throw it away to avoid the sack and the last thing he should do is try to force it into tight coverage, where an interceptions can take place.
