Let's Get This Started
Hello everyone. This being my first blog, if you are actually reading this, thank you. I'm going to use this first post to start things off. First, if you have any suggestions or questions, please feel free to let me know. If there is anything you would like me to include or write about, again, let me know. As a Dolphin fan, I too have waited through a time when my beloved team has gone through some bad times. Last year was so bad, it became a Sunday ritual to cry myself to sleep. Week after week of disappointment. But I had faith, and I would never give up on my team. From day 1 I had a feeling Mr. Cameron was not going to bring this team to a level of competitive play. I think we can all agree, he wasn't a good fit for our team, and helped destroy(or at least slow down) our hopes and dreams. Then they hired the Tuna, who did the right thing by revamping the team. The image that was given to the Fins needed to be changed and was. I had hope again. Then the season started. First the Jets, a loss, but I saw improvement. The team was trying and came close. Week 2 was a punch in the face. Arizona handed it to our guys, who were probably starting to think, "NOT AGAIN!" They had something to prove. It was set up prefectly. Joey Porter wrote the script by saying what seemed like another cocky comment that shouldn't have been said by a team that was going to get beat. He set a tone. They knew that they weren't the team from the week before. No one gave them a chance and they destroyed a team who was, though without their all-star Brady, expected to be one of the best. Of course, most passed it off as a fluke, but they were wrong. Dead wrong. They took the lead against another very good team and didn't let go. The Chargers tried to come out and play, but the Fins wanted it more. Finally, some people started to give notice, "Hey, these guys might be good." The players are out playing the other team. The coaches are out coaching the other team. As a whole, this team seems...different. Are we expecting playoffs, probably not. Can we hope for them, your damn right. So here is to all the fans who stuck through the bad times. Thank you for never giving up hope. GO DOLPHINS!
