Give Beck A Chance

It was almost a year ago that Dolphins fan were hoping and praying that Miami would select quarterback Brady Quinn with their 9th pick in the draft.  A year later and it's de ja vu all over again.  I'm getting the feeling from fellow fish fans that they think the solution to every ill in Miami is yet another quarterback! Please stop the insanity.  Miami has more holes than your local KRISPY KREME.  Boston College quarterback Matt Ryan is not going to turn things around in 2008! Dolphin fans want to see improvement.  More wins will only come with more quality players. It's that simple.  The best thing the Dolphins can do is trade out of that top spot and do some shrewd drafting.  Does anybody remember how the defense was carved up like a Thanksgiving turkey in 2007? I do. It wasn't pretty.  So I say let's give second year quarterback John Beck a chance. Let's keep in mind that Beck had only a handful of starts.  In none of those games did he have starting running back Ronnie Brown to shoulder the load.  Let's give Beck a chance with a healthy offense and let's give the front office a chance to do more than draft another quarterback.
