Farma Or Rush-More?

I must say it has been a long off-season in anticipation for the Dolphins under the new regime of Parcels and Sporano at the helm. Unfortunately, the first game felt like any Dolphins' frustrating attempt from the past 10 years, starting the game with two short runs and an incompletion. Not to mention another 3 and out on the following drive. Chad finally mustered a scoring drive at the end of the first, begin 2nd. We managed to shut down Laverneous Coles, who only had one catch for five yards, but Jerricho Cotchery for 56, come on! If you take Favre out of that game or change a couple of play calls in the red-zone, where they had two turnovers, the Dolphins would have won. Bret seems to have his swagger he has not had in the past five or six years, plus he had some sick palys, including the ridiculous touchdown pass while being taken down against the Dolphins, the overtime bomb to beat Denver last year, and the under hand flip for a first down in the playoffs (He's still great). There was positive that came from the loss though. In his debut Chad carried the passing game for 250 yards in the air, almost compensating for the dismal running attack which included 47 total yards from the R-n-R Xpress. You know the running game will pick up if they hand it off more than 16 times, because we can't win with Chad having to throw 46 passes (one attempt shy of total rushing yards). To win in this league you have to rush the ball, and the Jets proved that by getting over the 100+ mark. I cannot say I have lost any hope yet because Brady is out for the season. I hate that it takes an injury for the Dolphins to have a chance in the division, but lets face it, with Brady, the Pats would not have lost any divisional games (and few others). That means the division is a toss up, and being the only team in the division to lose week 1; there is already ground to make up. The Tuna knows what must be done, and his protege will fix these problems. One more light note, the team only committed 4 penalties; however, 2 were made by #1 pick, Jake Long, which negated 2 first downs. I look forward to the rest of the season, but for now I'm gonna go watch some tape. Be sure to tune in again next time, and in case I don't see ya, good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
