Michael Maxfield's Miami Dolphins Fan Profile

I am the diehard fan who doesn't hide when things get bad. I am among the few purchasers of the NFL Sunday Ticket on DirecTV, who spends the money ONLY to watch "their" team. I am a Dolphins fan, I bleed orange and teal... and yes, my first son will be named Jason. (And my first dog will be named Marino.)

I hate the Patriots almost as much as I love the Dolphins. I wished a torn achilles to Brady and Moss before they broke the records that neither of them deserved. I take pleasure in watching Brady get thrown to the ground, even if the pass he threw went for a TD. I enjoy watching them lose, albeit very rarely... (and not in over a year.)

The most memorable games in my 17 year history of watching the Dolphins, include beating the Patriots in front of a national audience on Monday Night Football in 2004. Keep in mind, we were 4-12 that year, and it was another bad year to be a Dolfan... but watching a forgettable Dolphins QB throw to a forgettable Dolphins WR on that 4th and 9 play with about a minute left in the game, truly made the entire season worthwhile.

Fuck you, New England... fuck you.
